Photo exhibition "Colors of the White Continent"

On February 27, 2024, the Zoological Museum of LNU named after Ivan Franko, the opening of the exhibition "Colors of the White Continent" by polar biologist Serhii Glotov was held.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by 64 people, including students, scientists and employees of various faculties and structural divisions of the University, connoisseurs of Antarctic moments. Marta Dzindra, a member of the 27th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition, and Anastasia, Serhiy Glotov's wife, also came to visit. At the same time, with the help of online communication from the Antarctic station "Akademik Vernadskyi", the polar explorers themselves joined the event: the author of the photos and biologist-microbiologist Taras Peretyatko.

The purpose of the event is not only to acquaint visitors with the beauty of white content, but also contains a charitable component: event participants can receive "Invincibility Cards" with photos of Antarctic animals and landscapes for donating to the Ukrainian Army.

The exhibition at the Zoological Museum can be viewed until March 10, 2024.
